Simple home for grandparents

Big buttons, read aloud: Say good morning, Call my family, and messages for you.

What Simple home is

A calm, large-type home screen for family members who just want to see the latest and call. It has three things: Say good morning, Call my family, and Messages for you, read aloud.

Turn it on

1. On the grandparent's phone, open Family and tap Me.
2. Turn on Simple home (big buttons, read aloud).

To go back to the full app, tap Show everything at the bottom of Simple home.

Saying good morning

Tap Say good morning and record a few seconds: the snow at the bird feeder, the coffee, a wave. It goes to the top of every feed in their circles, captioned and translated, with no circle to pick.

Calling

Call my family rings everyone in the family at once. Replies, including voice replies, show up under Messages for you.

Help them sign in once, set their reading language in Me, and turn on notifications so calls ring.
